I could not live without...

1. Soleil Tan De Chanel for me is the most amazing bronzer ever. I usually wear it over my foundation when I'm going out but for ever day I just use it on it's own with some concealer for everyday use. It give a really nice glow and stays on all day. I absolutely love it.

2. Pink Lemonade Lipglass by M.A.C is a tinted lipgloss which is also available many different shades. This is my favourite as it is a very girlie pink colour and I feel as though it stays on the full day...even after eating and drinking.

3. M.A.C Pro Longwear concealer in shade NW20, a shade lighter than my foundation for me is a very good coverage concealer that effectively covers my blemishes. I usually wear this under my bronzer under my pots and baggy eyes instead of a foundation base.

4. Eyelure Naturalites Lashes in 107 are lashes I wear very often. I feel that they aren't too heavy on my eye's and have a very natural look at the same time whilst adding length and volume to my lashes. I love them!

5. I use Accessorize Blusher it comes in one shade, Diva,  and is a merged colour blusher which creates a marbleized effect to give cheeks an all over-warmth glow. I personally feel that it works great as a blusher and gives off a highlighted effect to your cheeks. Ideal for when your in a rush to get ready.

Special Effects.

On a Wednesday morning we are in Special Effects. So far in this course we have been working on burns scenarios and  I have just passed my Pre-Assessment for it. Next week I will it my assessment for it which I hope to pass.

We have been introduced to many different products to produce effect looking burns. I usually start by applying a base colour from the colour palette in my desired area for my burn. This has to be a believable size with a realistic story behind it. I then begin to apply several layers of latex so that I can peel back them back to show how the skin has been burned. Along with a bruise wheel, I then begin to build up the colour around and inside the burn. Depending on the degree of the burn then I will either add tuplast or gelatine. To finish and add a shine to show the freshness I use chollodium.

Style Icons

Someone who I feel has a large impact on my choice of style is Fearne Cotton. Fearne is a 30 year old, well known Television presenter and Radio one DJ and is renowned for her individual fashion style. She effortlessly put-together mix of vintage, high-end designer and high-street steals. Fearne knows what suits her and with this knowledge she has started to endorse her own fashion range on Very.co.uk. Fearne describes this as “a bit vintage, a bit glam, a bit rock chick and very Fearne.” In this range you can find items for almost every occasion including accessories. I feel that Fearne quirky look is very simply thrown together and always looks fabulously effortless. Not only am I a fan of Fearne’s dress sense but also her make-up. She is always sporting a very natural look when either out shopping or on television. A natural glow always highlights and defines her cheek bones, this is normally teamed with very basic lined eyes in black and I natural shade of lip gloss. Overall Fearne has a big influence on not only mine but many woman across the country’s fashion and this for me makes her one of my style icons.
