On a Wednesday morning we are in Special Effects. So far in this course we have been working on burns scenarios and I have just passed my Pre-Assessment for it. Next week I will it my assessment for it which I hope to pass.

We have been introduced to many different products to produce effect looking burns. I usually start by applying a base colour from the colour palette in my desired area for my burn. This has to be a believable size with a realistic story behind it. I then begin to apply several layers of latex so that I can peel back them back to show how the skin has been burned. Along with a bruise wheel, I then begin to build up the colour around and inside the burn. Depending on the degree of the burn then I will either add tuplast or gelatine. To finish and add a shine to show the freshness I use chollodium.
